Welcome to Claim 24
Can I Claim? Not Your Fault? While individuals may carry a great deal of coverage or insurance in the UK which covers one in a variety of accidents, most often companies providing such coverage also offer a claims helpline.
However, there are also independent companies which provide such services. As such, if one wants to assure one is getting accurate information from such an assistance hot line, one may want to read a variety of reviews related to such businesses before deciding which to call for either an initial consultation or second opinion when it comes to filing such claims.
Although, such independent help desks often provide an invaluable service to a number of individuals who can never seem to get anywhere working directly with a company on such a claim. In addition, whether or not one can access such a service with the company providing such coverage, one may also want to call such an assistance hot line to assure the company is providing the correct answer under current UK law. As such, when calling such an independent helpline, one may have to answer a great many more questions than when calling one hosted by the agency with which one carries coverage.
In addition, when looking outside such a company for assistance, one may also want to assure and use an assistance line which has had a number of years experience. For, while some have only been set up within the last year or two, there are others which have been actively helping consumers for quite some time. So, while such an agency may not provide such coverage, most agents working at such companies are knowledgeable about a number of issues related to such claims, whether such may have been an accident which occurred at work, an automobile crash, a fall at a retail establishment or related to medical malpractice.
In fact, if one has any such claim, as long as one was not at fault in such an injury, one can often receive compensation. However, if one plans on filing such a claim, one needs to have as much back up documentation relating to such an accident as possible. As such, one may want to assure and keep any records of medical testing associated with such an accident along with copies of any bills which one has paid.
Of course, as most such injuries at work occur due to a lack of training while others occur on the road, one also need be specific when calling such an assistance hot line. However, while it is often to prove fault in such accidents related to business as well as with vehicles, accidents which occur on retail premises differ. For, unless one reports such an accident at the time it occurs to the management of such an operation, one may have no basis for such a claim.
However, if one can report such accident immediately to the department in which such injury occurred, one often has a far better chance of having such claim approved for payment. Although, regardless as to whether one is filing a claim for benefits from an accident incurred at a place of employment, retail outlet, or a medically related one, the more documentation the better chance one can have such claim approved. For, while many insurers provide excellent coverage, sadly not nearly as many pay on claims when filed without extensive proof that the individual was not at fault in such situations.
As such, as in the UK, such claims can only be made when a covered individual is not at fault in such accident. Of course, most claims should be granted as long as one can show that a business, person or object was at fault when such injury occurred. Although, there are also other considerations when filing such as personal loss, property damage or loss, lost wages and others.
To this end, if one has incurred such an injury, especially if one has experienced severe injuries, loss of property, or is out of work, one may want to call such a claims helpline to assure that one is receiving the maximum one can receive based on such damage, injuries, lost wages and medical bills. In fact, it has been shown in a variety of studies that individuals often return to work too rapidly after such an accident, often aggravating the injury. As such, if one needs to take time to off to allow such an injury heal, one may want to be sure and include any current or expected loss of wages as relates to such an event.
